 Coronavirus update:

January 2021 update - open for treatment.

I am pleased to say that following confirmation from the Society of Sports Therapists I am still able to work to provide "essential therapy services for the relief of pain and acute symptoms". This means I will continue to offer treatments to patients with a specific injury to address - please contact me via phone or email if you have any queries about what is appropriate.

As for much of the second half of last year I will be working under the guidelines set out for me via our professional bodies - The Society of Sports Therapists and The Sports Massage Association.

Full details of how I will be working can be seen here, with the main points being that I shall wear a visor at all times and a mask when appropriate, all linen will be changed after each appointment and surface all disinfected. I would ask that you please wear a mask and obviously cancel/postpone your appointment if you have any thought that you might be displaying Coronavirus symptoms.

If you have any queries on the Coronavirus protocols for close contact working then please feel free to email or call to discuss things

Autumn 2020 - Still open through November lockdown

The Government have now released full details for the four week lockdown from November 5th listing which businesses and professions are allowed to work and which have to go into lockdown. Sports Therapy and Sports Massage Therapy have now been classified aspart of the "Therapy Professonals" category which means that we are allowed to keep working through this period.

There are certain conditions which need to be met in terms of the safety of the premises, equipment used and cleaning protocols all of which I am already carrying out as part of my coronavirus protocols (see below). In addition, there must be a "clinical need" for your treatment and if you have any queries on this please call me to discuss first before booking anything in.

There are guidelines in place abut my working practice which I need your help to stick to, so please take the time to read the details of how I will be working here.
